Adalyn Brin Alger

Adalyn Brin Alger was born on Saturday at 12:56 pm weighing 8 lbs 14 oz and measuring at 20 inches long. She is a sweet baby and we are so glad that she is finally here!

Elly's 2nd Birthday and a few other random pics!

So we celebrated Elly's birthday on the 10th and boy what a difference a year makes. She was so much more excited to open presents and to actually play with them. These first few pictures are just a few random ones, and then there are pics from her party.

We got Elly a bed for her birthday. She likes it, but I don't know if she really loves it yet. This picture was before she went to sleep and the next picture was when she was finally asleep. It's alot harder to keep her in a bed now. We lost all of our freedom that night. That was kind of sad :(

We went camping over the 4th and Elly and her cousin decided that it would be fun to get into a dirt fight. They were both FILTHY! I can't even count how many times I had to clean her off. She was this dirty the whole trip.

She REALLY loves jewelry and anything pretty. This was her face when she opened up her bracelets and they haven't left her sight since then.

As for baby news, we will most likely end up having her in three weeks. I am really excited because he is taking me two weeks early because of my diabetes and because she is so massive. I am very ready to be done!

So Far This Summer....

So here are some pictures of what we have been up to so far this summer.

Elly loves her blanket....even in 80 degree weather :) She loves to wrap up in it no matter where she is at or how hot it is...she kills me!

My Little Diva

Last week, Jason had to go out of town for work and he brought back this really cute Hello Kitty Backpack. When he gave it to her, she yelled "Cute Bear!" (Everything right now is a bear to her haha). She was so excited to put it on. To go along with the backpack, she had to put on her sunglasses and necklace. She is such a girl! It seems like I just posted, but it has acutally been a really really long time! Wow! The months just seem to fly by. These are just a few pictures of Elly from the last month or so. She is getting such a little attitude and starting into the terrible two stage. It makes life so much fun :) She keeps us going all time and knows EXACTLY what she wants. It's fun and I think it's only going to get worse when the new baby gets here. I guess I am ready :)

She has been super attached to her blanket lately (she has three that she just loves). I always find her wrapped up in it with her clothes off and laying on our bed. She loves to be naked and takes her pants off every chance she can get. That pretty much sucks because I am getting a little sick of putting her pants back on all of the time. Oh well :)

She loves trains, but she really really didn't like the train that day. It took a lot to keep her on it. My sister Kaitlin had to jump on there with her (but I think Kaitlin was kind of excited to play on it haha).

I finally broke down and got her some sun glasses because she thought she had to wear mine all of the time (especially when her daddy gave them to her once and she never forgot it). She thinks she is pretty cool with them.

It's Official!

So....we found out today that we are having a baby GIRL and we are so excited!

A Few Random Pics

Elly has been obsessed with my glasses lately. Whenever I need them, I usually can't find them and I have to ask Elly to find them. The sad things is she always can. She just thinks she is so big and has to do everything like Mommy and Daddy. I painted my toe nails the other day, and all she kept saying was, "WOW Mommy!" and hasn't left them alone since. I painted her toe nails today and she couldn't quit smiling. It was pretty funny. Well here are a few pictures of Elly with my glasses on :)
