A Few Random Pics

Elly has been obsessed with my glasses lately. Whenever I need them, I usually can't find them and I have to ask Elly to find them. The sad things is she always can. She just thinks she is so big and has to do everything like Mommy and Daddy. I painted my toe nails the other day, and all she kept saying was, "WOW Mommy!" and hasn't left them alone since. I painted her toe nails today and she couldn't quit smiling. It was pretty funny. Well here are a few pictures of Elly with my glasses on :)

Jewelry!

Yesterday, I was at Wal Mart just looking around in the Valentine's isle and I came across some necklaces and bracelets. Well, I showed Elly and she literally started having a panic attack because she wanted them so bad. I figured what the heck and got them for her. When we got home, I had to get them out immediately because she was ready to put them on. I don't think she quit smiling for hours. She kept yelling "CUTE!" as so took them off and on. A little jewelry can make any girl happy (even if it is only like $2 haha). Here are some pictures of her all dressed up and loving every second of it :)

Christmas

Here are some pictures from Christmas this year. I was a dork and left my camera in Price and so I only have pictures from Christmas Eve. I will post more when I get them from my mother in law.
Getting ready to open presents.

She LOVES purses!

Smiling for a picture.

I am not sure how this ended up on her head, but she thought it was pretty funny.
She really got into opening presents. She was even helping daddy :)

Opening her baby. All she said was "Oh Baby! Wow! Baby!"

Trying to get Uncle Taylor to open that baby...he just couldn't get it out quick enough.

Elly got a rocking chair and a cradle and she loved to wrap her baby up and rock her. It was so cute.
Being a cheese ball.

Loving the baby.

Trying to keep the baby on her lap and rocking it at the same time.

Thinking she's pretty cool.

Still rocking the baby.
This was when we got home. She had to have all of them with her. She ended up getting a total of 6 babies for Christmas and she loves every one of them.

Elly at her best!

Well...all I can say is I can't believe Christmas is just in a few weeks. Wow where has the time gone? Anyways...Elly has been doing the funniest things lately. Here are just a few.
Elly was playing in the book stand/lamp and couldn't get out it.
Still trying to get out.
Elly putting her shirt on her head.

Elly is truly obsessed with her binky. She learned how to stick both of them in her mouth at the same time.

Jason and Elly :)

This was Elly's first time playing in the snow and she LOVED it....until she face planted it and then it was time to go in.

More snow....

She finally sat in the snow and thought it was pretty cool.

All I have to say is I really hope that summer comes soon cause I don't know how much of the cold and snow I can take. Oh well :)

Halloween!

So this year for Halloween, we went to Huntington to go trick-or-treating. We had fun and we really enjoyed seeing the nieces and nephews in their costumes.
Elly and Parker playing in the Halloween bucket.
Still playing in the bucket :)

Jason and Elly smiling for a quick picture. Elly was a lady bug and Jason was a rocker with a mullet. He looked pretty dang good (and funny all at the same time).

Elly and I trying to take a pic but she wouldn't look at the camera.

Trying to run away from the camera.

She had the hardest time standing up in this costume. It was pretty freakin hilarious.

Elly and the cousins. It was impossible to get them all to take a good picture.

Getting ready to trunk-or-treat.

Jason and Elly just before we went out.

Jason and his dad were rockers and everyone thought they were girls, but no...they were just trying to be rockers.
Elly and her cousins.

Jason getting ready to rock!

The Zoo!

So last Friday, Elly and I went to the Zoo with my mom's sister and her family. Elly had so much fun! She was so interested in the animals and the sounds they made. I have NEVER seen her sit so still in my life. Here are some fun pictures of our day :)
Elly playing at the park on the giant spider. I think she was a little afraid of it because I could not get her to stay on it.
She loved the caterpillar. She kept trying to lick it's antennas. Elly playing inside of a turtle shell. She kept putting wood chips inside and then throwing them off. She had a good time.

Elly and I on the train. She won't sit still for anything to take a picture. I miss the days when she would just smile, but now there are too many things to look at.

I had to take some pictures of her face when she was looking at the animals. She was so interested in everything. This was when we were in the monkey house. She kept saying what the monkeys say. It was so cute.

Still looking at the monkeys.

Trying to pose for a picture in front of the elephant, but Elly nor the elephant would cooperate.

Looking at the mommy and baby elephant.

Look how cute the baby elephant is! She was born in August and so everything is still pretty new to her. In this picture, she was exploring and got stuck on the cement wall. She was so fun to watch and probably my favorite part of the zoo.

The mommy elephant and the baby elephant. The baby was hiding underneath her mommy and the mommy was throwing mud all over her. It was adorable!

Elly totally into this animal (sorry I can't remember what animal we were looking at).

The carousel and Elly wanted to get back on it.

Still wanting to get back on.

The gorilla on the carousel.

Begging me to let her have another ride on the carousel.

Just a quick picture.

The baby giraffe. He just kind of sat there, but he was still really cute.

The baby snow cub chasing her mom.

The baby tigers sleeping with their mom.

Elly got a baby elephant and she kept saying "Oh baby! Oh baby!" She loves all babies. It's funny.
At the end of the day, she was TIRED! She finally went to sleep and crashed hard (as you can tell by looking at her mouth hanging wide open.) We had a great day and I can't wait to take her back!
