The Zoo!

So last Friday, Elly and I went to the Zoo with my mom's sister and her family. Elly had so much fun! She was so interested in the animals and the sounds they made. I have NEVER seen her sit so still in my life. Here are some fun pictures of our day :)
Elly playing at the park on the giant spider. I think she was a little afraid of it because I could not get her to stay on it.
She loved the caterpillar. She kept trying to lick it's antennas. Elly playing inside of a turtle shell. She kept putting wood chips inside and then throwing them off. She had a good time.

Elly and I on the train. She won't sit still for anything to take a picture. I miss the days when she would just smile, but now there are too many things to look at.

I had to take some pictures of her face when she was looking at the animals. She was so interested in everything. This was when we were in the monkey house. She kept saying what the monkeys say. It was so cute.

Still looking at the monkeys.

Trying to pose for a picture in front of the elephant, but Elly nor the elephant would cooperate.

Looking at the mommy and baby elephant.

Look how cute the baby elephant is! She was born in August and so everything is still pretty new to her. In this picture, she was exploring and got stuck on the cement wall. She was so fun to watch and probably my favorite part of the zoo.

The mommy elephant and the baby elephant. The baby was hiding underneath her mommy and the mommy was throwing mud all over her. It was adorable!

Elly totally into this animal (sorry I can't remember what animal we were looking at).

The carousel and Elly wanted to get back on it.

Still wanting to get back on.

The gorilla on the carousel.

Begging me to let her have another ride on the carousel.

Just a quick picture.

The baby giraffe. He just kind of sat there, but he was still really cute.

The baby snow cub chasing her mom.

The baby tigers sleeping with their mom.

Elly got a baby elephant and she kept saying "Oh baby! Oh baby!" She loves all babies. It's funny.
At the end of the day, she was TIRED! She finally went to sleep and crashed hard (as you can tell by looking at her mouth hanging wide open.) We had a great day and I can't wait to take her back!

Playing at the Park and a few other things

Here are some fun pictures of Elly playing at the park. We live really close to Murray Park so it is fun to go and hang out (especially when we need to get out of the house).

She loves the swings and she laughs so hard when she gets really close to me.

She is so focused when she plays. She has such a one track mind.
She was trying to sneak past me, but not such a great idea because of the drop off. She was not happy with me when I made her go the other way.

Still trying to get past me.
She really likes the slide.

Showing me a wood chip.

Elly LOVES books. She will just sit somewhere and flip though her books forever. She can now pick out a dog and she knows exactly what the doggy says.
Always ready to pose for a picture.

Elly playing on this really cool little thing (I have no idea what's it called). I think she was a little scared at first because she would just start spinning as soon as I put her in it. I really liked it...but I am not so sure she did. :)

She was just obsessed with picking up the little wood chips. I even found some in her diaper...that's pretty gross I know, but what do you do?

I think this is her favorite place to sit. She loves to sit in the weirdest places.

She REALLY enjoyed dinner that night (except for the green beans apparently)

So Elly is OBSESSED with this bear. She carries it around everywhere. Jason will always tell her to go and find it and she always gets it. It's so cute and I love this smile. It is so cheesy and her hair is totally out of control.

The fun we have at home!

These are things that Elly has just figured out. She has decided that she likes to try to dress herself, pull EVERYTHING out of the cupboard in the bathroom, and crawl under things to find the smallest things. I just sit and laugh at her, which I might regret later because she thinks everything she does is SO cute. I am screwed! HELP! haha
Elly trying to dress her self. Everything goes on her head (which messes up her hair. We have lots of fights over her hair.)

Being silly.

Elly has figured out there are alot of things hiding under the sink in the bathroom that she likes to play with. She has decided the curling iron is her favorite. This was her crawling out from under the sink.

Her with her prize.

Pulling EVERYTHING our from under her dresser. I guess we won't ever loose anything with Elly around.

I was able to catch her under the sink this time. She is always ready to pose for a picture.

After a long day of playing, a nap is just what she needs. She will be so much happier when she wakes up! Thank goodness for naps!

The last few weeks have been crazy!

Since we moved, I feel like we have been running around with our heads cut off :).
We had to find clothes for Jason to start work with, get clothes for the reception (oh boy let me tell you how bad that sucked), Taylor got married, Jason left for San Jose 3 three days later, I went to Price to hang out, I came back to pick Jason up and then drop him off two days later, and then I went back to Price. When Jason came back, I came home and picked him up and then drove back to Price the next day for Taylor's open house in Price. Now Jason has started with Ernst and Young and I get to STAY HOME!!! I think of the teacher's that I worked with and I all I can think of is poor suckers....just kidding. I have got so much accomplished in the last two days it's amazing! My house is almost to the point to where I think it should be. It's fun. I will probably start to get bored in a couple weeks but I am over it. Well here are some pictures of us at the open house. I could not get Elly to smile with Jason. I don't know what her deal was. :)
